AUVSI has been diligently working the federal legislative process to ensure its recommendations for the upcoming FAA Reauthorization bill are heard. It has been meeting with key House and Senate stakeholders over the last few months, laying the groundwork for what will surely be a critical legislative measure for entire UAS industry.

 

As the legislative process on both sides of the Capitol moves forward, AUVSI will continue to educate federal lawmakers & staff and advocate for provisions that alleviate regulatory burdens, promote technology innovation, and increase government & industry collaboration. We expect for these discussions to continue through the coming spring and summer.
