The Automated Freight Summit is AUVSI’s inaugural advocacy event focused solely on answering the big questions around how to continue safely deploying automated freight around the country. The program has been built out to answer pressing questions around safety, workforce, policy, public perception, and more. If you are interested in the continued safe deployment of automated freight, fill out the registration form. Come prepared to engage in robust debates, submit questions to the panelists, and learn something new from automated freight leaders.

Due to the ongoing challenges with the current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, AUVSI made the decision to host AFS virtually.

Panels will be recorded, but only those individuals that register to attend the conference will be allowed to access the recordings.

The Automated Freight Summit will take place over two days during July 7-9, 2021. All times listed on the agenda are in the Eastern Time Zone. One AFS registration will grant you access to all panels on both days, but you are welcome to attend any/all panels depending on your schedule.

This event is geared towards individuals interested in the continued safe deployment of automated freight across the U.S. Industry professionals, members of the media, educational representatives, and lawmakers/staff are welcome to submit a registration form.

AFS is free to attend, but registration is required.

To receive panel access information, you must fill out the registration form available on the main event page.

There is no deadline to complete the registration form. However, the event will be limited at a certain number of participants so we recommend that you complete the registration form as soon as possible. Please note: if you complete the registration form on day of the event and there is still room to attend, there will be lag time between finalizing your registration and receiving your access link.

Access links are meant solely for the registered individual; they may not be sold, traded, transferred, or shared with anyone else.

Once you complete the registration form for AF, you will receive a follow-up email from Jackie Beckwith. If space permits, your registration will be confirmed and you will receive panel log-in information in advance of the event. will be able to access the event platform via your internet browser.

You will be able to watch presentations and submit questions for speakers via a chat function. Unlike other AUVSI virtual events, there will not be virtual networking opportunities or other online features. AFS will focus on robust and substantive panel discussions.

To access the virtual event platform, the minimum recommended bandwidth is 1.5mbps. Speakers or headphones are required to hear the content being presented.

All panels will be conducted on Vimeo, so be sure you have access to the software.
