New AV Industry Event – AUVSI’s Automated Goods Movement Summit April 25-26
Arlington, Va. – The Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is proud to announce the inaugural Automated Goods Movement Summit (AGMS) scheduled for April 25-26 in Orlando, Florida. Co-located with AUVSI’s cross-domain trade show and conference, XPONENTIAL, AGMS will feature industry and government leaders digging into key questions and opportunities surrounding the continued safe and responsible deployment of technologies including automated trucks and warehouse robotics. During the two-day event, attendees can expect to hear from experts on the following topics:
-
What is a Law Enforcement Interaction Plan?
-
When Does the Vehicle Become the Driver?
-
Building the AV Workforce
-
21st Century Warehouse Design
-
And much more
“Building on AUVSI’s leadership of previous AV Symposia, while narrowing in on a use case with clear commercial viability – automated goods movement technologies – AGMS will convene key industry stakeholders in a venue you won’t want to miss,” according to AUVSI President and CEO Brian Wynne. “The panels will address critical questions and attendees will be encouraged to engage in problem-solving as we all work to further deployment of automated trucks, warehouse robotics, and low-speed delivery devices.” The importance of holding the first-ever AGMS in the Sunshine State is also notable. “Florida has long been a leader in this space, which is why there is no better place to host AGMS than Orlando. The entire automated vehicle industry is grateful for the state’s quick embrace of these our technologies, and it will be wonderful to enjoy one of the industry’s first in-person events in Florida,” said AUVSI Board Member Suzanne Murtha.
