Barcelona Drone Days 2025 | Real-Time BVLOS Demo & Industry Collaboration

On 8–9 October 2025, Videosoft Global, in collaboration with BCN Drone Center, Viasat, Gotonomi, AIR6 Systems, Volant, and Heron AirBridge, co-hosted Barcelona Drone Days 2025; bringing together over 130 participants from five continents for live demonstrations and UAV industry collaboration.

Videosoft demonstrated the capabilities of FireLight™, its real-time, ultra-low-bandwidth video encoding software, during a fully remote flight. Using the Viasat Velaris network, an AIR6 drone in Klagenfurt, Austria was controlled live while streaming high-quality video to the BCN Drone Center over 1,500 km away.
