AUVSI to Host Webinar on Enhancing UAS Flight Safety Through 3D Multi-Sensor Visualization, June 17

Learn how a fusion of data inputs improves UAS safety for BVLOS operations

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) will host a webinar, “Enhancing UAS Flight Safety Through 3D Multi-Sensor Visualization,” on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, at 3 p.m. EDT.

Paige Cutland, IRIS program director at Kongsberg Geospatial, will host the webinar. He will explain how to increase unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) safety for beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations by using a fusion of data inputs from multiple sensors. This process creates an accurate, real-time picture of the airspace instead of relying on a single solution for flight safety or collision avoidance.

Mr. Cutland will also discuss how 3D visualization is being used to improve operator safety for fleet and semi-autonomous flight operations.

Registration for the webinar, which is sponsored by Kongsberg Geospatial, is available online and free for all attendees. Click here to register.
