AUVSI Statement on 2024 Election Results

Association for Uncrewed Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) President and CEO Michael Robbins released the following statement on the 2024 election results:

“AUVSI congratulates President-elect Trump and we look forward to working with the new administration and 119th Congress. Together, we can ensure U.S. remains the global leader in advanced aviation and modernize our military so that our warfighters have the tools they need to win.

During his first term, President Trump supported key initiatives that bolstered the U.S. uncrewed systems industry, including launching the Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) Integration Pilot Program (IPP) and BEYOND program at the Federal Aviation Administration, supporting robust defense spending in the President’s Budget requests, and working to reshore manufacturing and end reliance on foreign supply chains for critical technologies.

AUVSI and our members stand ready to continue this momentum by working with leaders across the incoming administration and to unlock the job growth and business opportunities that our industries will bring.”
