AUVSI Announces New Members of the Board of Directors

Board composition reflects each domain of unmanned systems

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) today announced new and returning members of its board of directors, who provide representation across the domains of unmanned systems – air, ground and maritime.

The new directors elected to the board are Todd Graetz, BNSF Railway; Bobby Hambrick, AutonomouStuff; former U.S. Rep. Frank LoBiondo, LoBo Strategies; and Craig Perciavalle, Austal USA. Nevin Carr, Leidos, and Bobby Sturgell, Collins Aerospace, were reelected to the board. The newly elected directors will serve three-year terms. Dr. Kristen Griffin, Northrop Grumman, was elected to a one-year term to fill an unexpired seat on the board.

Directors who are continuing their service on the board are Sean Bielat; John Coffey, Cherokee Federal; Ben Gielow, Amazon; Rob Hess, Unmanned Perspective, LLC; Brent Klavon, ANRA Technologies; Houston Mills, UPS; Suzanne Murtha, AECOM; Steven Nordlund, The Boeing Company; Thomas Reynolds, Huntington Ingalls Industries; Susan Roberts, Panasonic Avionics Corporation; and James Thomsen, Seaborne Defense.

Mark Gordon, Stratom, will continue to serve as the board chair. Other board members who will maintain their positions on the board’s executive committee are Executive Vice Chair Virginia Young, University of Alabama, Huntsville, and Treasurer Bill Irby, L3Harris . Dallas Brooks, Raspet Flight Research Laboratory at Mississippi State University, will also continue to serve on the executive committee as immediate past chair.
