Call for Posters Opened for Automated Vehicles Symposium 2019

The Association for Unmanned Systems International (AUVSI) and Transportation Research Board (TRB) open call for poster sessions at annual automated vehicles industry conference.

 

ARLINGTON, Va. — The Association for Unmanned Vehicles Systems International (AUVSI) and the Transportation Research Board (TRB) will hold poster sessions at the Automated Vehicles Symposium 2019 at the Orlando World Center Marriott on July 15 to 17. These sessions will provide attendees the opportunity to learn about cutting-edge work from across all topics related to automated vehicles.

Peer-reviewed research poster presentations will be held during the evening receptions on Tuesday, July 16 and Wednesday, July 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. EDT. Abstracts should present completed research projects, similar to those published in an academic journal article.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Vehicle Automation Technology
  • Infrastructure Technology Supporting Automation
  • Human Factors
  • Transportation Planning Impact Assessment
  • Transportation Operations Impact Assessment
  • Energy and Environment
  • Legal and Policy Issues
  • User Responses

Abstracts that are considered marketing pitches will not eligible for submission to the poster sessions. Submit submissions to be consider for the poster sessions on the AVS website.
