Skydio has announced the general availability of a broad set of advanced AI-pilot assistance capabilities for enterprise and public sector operators called Skydio Autonomy Enterprise Foundation (AEF). According to Skydio, AEF optimizes the Skydio 2 drone for professional use in a wide range of missions, including outdoor/indoor inspections, search and rescue, emergency response, security patrol, and situational awareness. UAVOS has announced that the converted Alpin UAV has completed its first successful flight in the sky of the State of Turkey. A joint project of UAVOS and Turkish engineering company TITRA, the UAV was created in accordance with the needs and requirements of the Turkish Rescue & Security industries. (UAVOS)

On behalf of the French Navy, Naval Group has accepted two more of Schiebel’s Camcopter S-100 UAS for operational use. The UAS will be deployed on the Mistral-class amphibious helicopter carriers (Porte-Hélicoptères Amphibie – PHA) Tonnerre and Mistral. (Schiebel)

A self-driving robot is scrubbing and cleaning the floors at St. Marks Catholic School in Oakton, Virginia. A gift from a parent, the robot has been deployed to clean the floors so maintenance staff can focus on high-touch surfaces. The robot has sparked the curiosity of students at the school. (WNYT)

Velodyne Lidar recently announced the Velarray M1600, which is described as an “innovative solid state lidar sensor” designed to serve mobile robotic applications. The sensor is the latest in a new line of Velarray products and first in the new M-series. (Business Wire)
