The winners of the 2020 XCELLENCE Awards

Xponential 2020 host DanRam announced the winners of the 2020 XCELLENCE Awards on Tuesday, Oct. 6.

There were five categories under the Technology & Innovation umbrella. In the category of services, InNovo Partners LLC took first place for its iPaaS – InNovo Platform as a Service, while SqwaQ took second place for its SqwaQbox.

In the category of software, Verity took first place for its Failsafe by Verity, Airbus took second place for its project Wayfinder, and Perceptive Automata took third place for its Bringing Human Intuition to Autonomous Trucks.

In the category of hardware – platform, the Air Force Research Laboratory-led Team took first place for the SkyVision Ground-Based Detect and Avoid System, First iZ placed second for its FIRST Port, and Kongsberg Maritime placed third for its HUGIN autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV).

In the category of hardware – component, LightWare Lidar took first place for the SF45 microLiDAR, Velodyne Lidar took second place for its Velabit, and Ouster took third place for its OS2-128.

In the category of commercial/enterprise operation or solution, UPS took first place for its UPS Flight Forward Drone Delivery system, Matternet took second place for its Matternet M2 Medical Logistics UAS, and Iris Automation took third place for Casia, its detect-and-avoid system. That was one of two awards that Iris Automation won for Casia, as the company placed first in the category of XCELLENCE in Innovation. Emesent placed second in the category for its Hovermap, and Dynetics placed third for the Gremlins Program.
