Media Advisory: Webinar on Opportunities and Challenges for Automated Vehicles

Industry stakeholders to discuss the future of automated vehicle technology

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) will host a webinar to discuss the possibilities and challenges presented by the rise in automated vehicle technology. The webinar will take place on Wednesday, Mar. 14 at 3 p.m. EDT.

“Connecting Cars, Connecting Users: Challenges and Opportunities Offered by Automated Vehicles” will explore topics such as driverless delivery, smart roads and AI as they transition from next-gen possibilities to today’s actualities. The webinar will examine some of the questions that have arisen as companies have launched high-profile automated vehicle programs and have begun publicly describing their implementation plans.

The webinar will feature Richard Bishop, principal at Bishop Consulting, and Corey Clothier, AV BD strategist at Mobility e3 (Me3), who will discuss their visions for the future of mobility and what it holds for road users.

This webinar is sponsored by KVH Industries, a leading manufacturer of solutions that provide global high-speed internet, television, and voice services via satellite to mobile users at sea and on land.

Registration for the webinar is complimentary for all who wish to attend. Registration will close on Mar. 14 at 11 a.m. EDT. For more information or to register, contact Tom McMahon at tmcmahon@auvsi.org or (571) 255-7786.
