Code of Conduct

Since the Institute seeks to maintain the highest professional standards in all its activities and to act with objectivity and impartiality, the Institute expects all its members to comply with this basic Code of Conduct.

• Show respect for others and other individual and group opinions.
• Be impartial and objective in all matters.
• Be even tempered and do not use abusive, foul nor prejudicial language.
• Comply with security, confidentiality and privacy markings and procedures.
• Exercise the highest professional standards in all matters and deal with others curteously.
• Seek to understand and work harmoniously with business cultures from nations other than your own.
• Seek every opportunity to identify useful work which the UnSysInst could undertake to pursue its Purpose.
• Seek new members for AUVSI and grants and sponsorship for UnSysInst initiatives.
• Report any unprofessional or inappropriate behaviour towards AUVSI by individuals and organizations outside AUVSI to the Council of Fellows.
• Report any breaches of this code by Members and Fellows to the Council of Fellows.
