Bringing this technology to market as products demands the best in mechanical and packaging engineering: and engineers able to merge proven high-reliability techniques with lightweight and affordable solutions.Echodyne is seeking a dynamic, driven B2B marketer to enhance and amplify our brand promise of a safer world through radar vision. As our first Marketing person, you’ll report directly to the CEO and get the opportunity to work closely with our leaders to: develop and communicate our unique story, influence our go-to-market strategies, and champion our customer value propositions. The ideal candidate is a passionate marketing leader who has a track record of achieving great results through innovative marketing across all types of marketing channels (print, digital, social media, etc.). She or he must be adept at B2B marketing and have successfully implemented plans that leverage multimedia channels targeted at strategic sub-segments of customers. This marketing leader will be passionate about measuring results and ROI. He or she will be known for trying new things and not just using traditional marketing techniques/channels only. 

Define the brand promise for the company and execute programs to increase brand awareness
Translate the company goals into a strategic marketing roadmap that leverages creative marketing solutions to drive measurable results
Develop and drive product positioning, value proposition, and integrated go-to-market strategy for our suite of products
Create captivating and relevant content for our website, marketing collateral, and social media channels and manage any 3rd party relationships/contracts required to develop and implement such content
Determine conference/tradeshow attendance and manage exhibit/content design/execution
Work closely with and manage an external PR firm
Create and manage all lead and demand generation processes which include: results analysis, forecasting and budgeting, and optimization through segmentation
Conduct on-going market research to keep abreast of market trends and competitor actions and communicate findings to address and stay ahead of the curve
Establish and manage the marketing budget for the company
Lead B2B marketing campaigns in close coordination with sales activities and product launch plansRequired skills / experience:
Minimum of a B.A. or B.S. degree with good technical background (e.g. science, engineering, or computer science)
Proven track-record of executing on KPI and data-driven marketing strategies that tie to revenue impact
Strong understanding and proven experience across multiple marketing domains (PR, content development, brand creation and management, product management, digital marketing, lead generation, campaign management)
Strategic and tactical skills; must be able to create plans then roll up your sleeves and get things done
Experience marketing technically complex products (e.g. hardware or electronics a big plus)
Entrepreneurial spirit with exceptional organizational and analytical skills and a proven ability to drive new, ambiguous, and complex projects with minimal oversight
Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing
A demonstrated history of becoming an expert in an unfamiliar domain. Proven ability to earn the trust and respect of engineering and product teams Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to optimize itDesired skills / experience (looking for one or more as a complement to the core skills):
MBA with marketing focus in addition to technical undergraduate degree is preferred
Extensive product marketing experience is a big plus, especially with International experience (regional or multi-country experience)
Experience marketing sensors (such as radar, computer vision, LIDAR, etc), robotics, avionics, or RF electronics is a big plus
Marketing team management experience a plus
Experience managing vendors to drive maximum efficiency
12+ years broad marketing experience across range of marketing disciplines and proven expertise in at least two of the following in a high-growth start-up tech environment: PR, content development, brand creation and management, product management, digital marketing in a high-growth start-up technology environment
BA/BS required in a related concentration; MBA with focus on Marketing a plus
Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences
Proven ability to work cooperatively with business development, sales and customer support to produce successful customer stories
