Function:
Working with defined standards and procedures, performs a variety of accounting/clerical duties of average complexity in support of the accounting department with minimal to general supervision.
Job Requirements:
Education:
High school or GED, some post high school accounting classes (including accounting software) desired.
Work Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in an accounting department with duties encompassing at least one function area such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc.
Skills/Knowledge
1.      Basic knowledge of accounting methods and office practices and procedures as they relate to clerical processing and recording of transactions and accounting information
2.      Proficiency with a 10-key and standard office/accounting computer software required
3.      Strong written and verbal communication skills
4.      Familiarity with Sarbanes-Oxley environment helpful
