About AUVSI

With over 1,400 member companies and organizations from 50 countries, the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is the world's largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to advancing the unmanned systems community. AUVSI, with members from government organizations, industry and academia, is committed to fostering, developing, and promoting unmanned systems and related technologies.

By providing opportunities for information exchange, networking and business development, AUVSI forums are the best resource for simply learning about unmanned systems or for staying abreast of the latest program and technology updates.

Mission Statement
The mission of AUVSI is to promote and support the unmanned systems community through communication, education and leadership.

	Worldwide Member Groups AUVSI members represent 50 countries and these members can network more effectively and regularly through Chapters and Regions.
	AUVSI's Unmanned Systems Institute The Institute, founded in 2004, acts as an impartial and objective academic body within AUVSI, promoting vision, intellectual leadership and education in unmanned systems.
	Student Competitions AUVSI has created competitions to challenge students to design, build and deploy air, ground and maritime autonomous unmanned systems. The missions and requirements for each competition vary but the common thread in each is the requirement for autonomous operation.
	AUVSI Foundation The AUVSI Foundation is a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 public charity that was established to support the AUVSI Student Competitions, among other activities.
	AUVSI Publications Unmanned Systems magazine, the bi-monthly publication of AUVSI, highlights current developments and unveils new technologies in air, ground, maritime, precision strike and space unmanned systems, and focuses on both the military and civilian arenas. Unmanned Science, AUVSI’s bi-weekly electronic newsletter, is delivered to AUVSI’s members and provides information on the science behind unmanned systems.  Filled with news and technical papers, this newsletter reaches a qualified unmanned systems audience.
	AUVSI's Career Center The AUVSI Career Center is the leading employment resource for the Unmanned Systems industry, offering products and services for both job-seekers and employers. This unique forum will allow job-seekers to review potential employment opportunities from leading players in the industry, while providing employers the ability to search through resumes of qualified candidates from around the world.
