AUVS-A Maritime Unmanned Systems Conference 2012 (MUSC 2012)
The 2012 Maritime Unmanned Systems Conference (MUSC 2012) was held in association with Pacific 2012 at the Sydney Convention Centre on the 30th-31st of January. MUSC 2012 was the first AUVS-Australia conference dedicated to maritime unmanned systems and their applications in Australia.

Queensland Government UAV Forum
Queensland Government Department of Employment, Economic Development & Innovation, in conjunction with AUVS-A and CASA, are holding a forum on UAS. It will be an important information and networking event, bringing together government, CASA, industry and research to discuss current and future trends and developments for the industry.
The Forum was held on the 23 November 2011 at Aviation High, Clayfield, Queensland. Over 100 people attended to learn more about the relationship between Queensland Government, AUVS-Australia, CASA and Academia and how they currently support industry. Speakers include representatives from Queensland Government, AUVS-Australia, CASA, Boeing Research & Technology Australia, Australian Research Centre for Aerospace Automation, Insitu Pacific, and V-Tol Aerospace. UAV Challenge 2011
Join AUVS-A in supporting the 2011 High School Airborne Delivery Challenge, to be held near Ipswich, QLD on the 27-28th September. Members of the public and industry are encouraged to attend, with the main flying event to be held on Wednesday the 28th.

AUVS-Australia Defence & Industry Conference Dinner
AUVS-Australia held a Dinner Event in association with the D&I Conference in Adelaide on the evening of June 27th 2011 at the Naval, Military & Air Force Club. The evening was intended to bring together those interested in Unmanned Systems development for the future. Following on the success of our International Conference in Melbourne of February of this year AUVS-Australia the Dinner featured guest speakers, Wg CMD David Riddel, Major Keirin Joyce and Dr. Tony Lindsay.
Members of AUVS-Australia and Guests enjoyed an intimate setting to hear first hand where Military unmanned systems are heading in terms of development and deployment, giving industry and academia a chance to network and connect directly with Australia’s Military.
